It's been nearly a month since I've posted and there are lots of things going on in my life at the moment. The lawfirm I work for is in the process of being absorbed by a bigger lawfirm and they are bringing our two attys and two paralegals over as a team and supposedly we will be operating just as we are now, just under a new name. We'll see. I will be at the new firm on Monday, Oct 1, so changes are coming and I will no longer be working in downtown Nashville. :-( I happen to enjoy working downtown.
As for knitting, I checked my Ravelry standing yesterday, there are only 513 ahead of me now and 19,000+ behind me. I signed on the first of July, so it's taking a little while, but I'm almost there. I know there are bugs but I'm excited nonetheless.
I cast on for a Christmas present for my sister-in-law. I don't think I'm starting early, I just hope I've started early enough and still be able to work on my other items that are on the needles. Pictures to be posted soon. My heartbeat sweater has been in time-out but I will bring it back into the active fold shortly.
