More wristwarmers - Irish Hiking Wristwarmers

I love these even more than the Fetching. If I did the Fetching again, I would put ribbing around the fingers rather than stockinette and a picot bind off. The Fetching wants to roll and that makes it more bulky. These Irish Hiking Wrist Warmers on the other hand are wonderful. They are knit flat and then seamed, but if you don't mind that, they are a wonderful knit. I found them on Ravelry in the Fingerless Gloves Fanatics forum. I would eventually like to make a pair of wrist warmers in a lace weight alpaca yarn, more warmth, less bulk. (sounds like a beer commercial) These are knit on size US 6 with one ball of Tonalita.

Beautiful! Love the colors! I agree with you on your assessment of the Fetching pattern. I made one for the LYS as a demo. I was disappointed.

I found a pattern that I really like, and got stuck on it. I have made 3 pair. It's a freebie on Ravelry...not sure of the name, but if you are interested you could trace it from my project page. (or let me know, and I will give you more info) It's knit from DK weight yarn....very plain, but very utilitarian. I wear mine every morning!
