Broken Internet links, are they really gone?

You know how you peruse the internet and add links to your Favorites so that you can find them again? Then one day (probably years later) you go back to click on that link and the resulting web page comes back as unknown or no longer active. Time for panic, because maybe it was a free pattern or a tutorial that you forgot to print. What do you do now??

I learned about this website years ago and realized I had to use it this morning. I am very thankful for its existence and decided I would share it with my knitsibs, in case you didn't already know about it. The Wayback Machine.

Once there, you copy and paste your "broken link" into their search box and it will find your old webpage. My suggestion at this point is to print what you failed to do before so you don't have to look for it again. :-)

Let me know if you have any questions!
